Research Computing

Lattice support

IMAGING

Research Computing has implemented of one of the most advanced local data analysis environments to support two lattice light sheet microscopes at the Kirchhausen laboratory in the Program for Cellular and Molecular Medicine (PCMM). Boston Children’s is fortunate to have one of the very first models of this instrument. Our current system, which supports two lattice light sheet microscopes, includes data processing workstations and a computing cluster at Harvard Medical School. We have implemented a super-fast 80 Gbps network to interconnect data acquisition, data analysis, and data storage resources. This setup acts as an excellent prototype applicable to other emerging image acquisition experiments at the hospital.
